Taiwan's YC Inox has commenced stainless steel sanitary tube production at its Turkey facility. The plant can manufacture 300-series stainless steel welded pipes to ASTM A554 standards. The same site also includes a stainless steel coil service center with a monthly capacity of 4,000 tons of 300-series and 400-series stainless steel flat products, capable of supplying the European and surrounding markets locally.
In terms of quality control for sanitary tubes, industry-standard practices include surface roughness testing (internal surface Ra typically required ≤ 0.8μm), precision dimensional measurement, material chemical composition verification, and internal borescope inspection. Sanitary tubes are widely used in food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, requiring smooth internal surfaces with no dead corners, strong corrosion resistance, long service life, and ease of cleaning and sterilization.
