The product utilizes an integrated domestic production process combining extrusion, solution treatment, and cold rolling, filling a domestic technical gap in high-grade thick-wall mechanical super duplex stainless steel pipes and breaking the long-standing reliance on imports.
Additionally, Alleima (formerly Sandvik Materials Technology) launched its SAF™ 2906 super duplex stainless steel grade in 2025, which has gained widespread adoption in high-pressure urea production facilities, offering exceptional resistance to carbamate solutions and stress corrosion cracking. According to industry reports, the global duplex stainless steel pipe market is expected to grow from approximately USD 730 million in 2025 to approximately USD 1.05 billion by 2032.
